Home Care

Supreme Care is an agency providing home care services in Hong Kong
At present, the usual practice of residential care homes is to send older residents to acute care hospitals when they are unwell. There are many barriers for older people to die in the place of their choice, particularly if they prefer staying at home with proper home care services.
The aim of home palliative care is to improve the quality of life of patients and families through the prevention and relief of suffering. Frequently, patients may choose to receive palliative care in the home.  Supreme Care can arrange home palliative care in the concept of a ‘good death’, which includes being able to know when death is approaching; retaining control of what happens; having dignity, privacy, and pain and symptom control; having choice and control over where death occurs at home.

Client Stories

My mother-in-law suffered from elbow light fracture after getting a slippery when taking a bath on her own. After one month’s medical treatment and getting recovered gradually. When the doctor said she was ready to go home, my mother-in-law could hardly to hold any utensils and not able to do cooking on her own. I knew I didn’t have the time or knowledge to take care of her properly. Supreme Care’s home rehabilitation service was very professional and empathetic to our situation.  They very quickly sent a nurse and a health worker to care for my mother-in-law. Supreme Care is able to send in a physiotherapist visiting my mother-in-law twice a week to continue rehabilitation. My father-in-law and I were relieved as my mother-in-law’s condition improved in the following month. We were all happy that my mother-in-law was able to stay home with us while receiving the appropriate home care services.
